{"id":109,"date":"2020-02-15T01:53:53","date_gmt":"2020-02-15T01:53:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/graftonschool.co.uk\/clone\/?page_id=109"},"modified":"2024-06-01T23:49:14","modified_gmt":"2024-06-01T22:49:14","slug":"attendance-punctuality","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/graftonschool.co.uk\/clone\/about-us\/attendance-punctuality\/","title":{"rendered":"Attendance &#038; Punctuality"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"color:#ffffff;font-size:25px\"><strong><em>\u201cGet to school and get there on time\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">At Grafton Primary School we want all our children to come to school every day so that they can get the most out of the exciting lessons that our teachers have planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To encourage our children to get here on time we award a weekly attendance and punctuality trophy as well as end of term 100% attendance awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#ffffff\"><strong>Attendance and Punctuality Weeks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Additionally we celebrate attendance for a week every term with our \u201cEarly Bird\u201d focus weeks when each child has the task of filling in their attendance passport; a full week of stamps means that a child will take a school based prize home whilst everyone has something to remind them about the importance of attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-pale-cyan-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size\" style=\"color:#ffffff\"><strong>Illness and Appointments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Of course, occasionally, children are ill.
