At Grafton Primary School, our assemblies are an important part of the rhythm of school life. They are moments when our whole community comes together to reflect, celebrate, learn and connect.

Celebrating Every Child
One of the greatest joys of gathering together is celebrating the achievements, kindness and effort of our pupils.
Assemblies provide opportunities to recognise children's successes both inside and outside the classroom.

Learning From One Another
Assemblies also give children opportunities to share their own learning.
Year groups regularly lead assemblies linked to topics they have been exploring in class, allowing them to present their ideas, perform, explain their learning and celebrate their achievements with the wider school community.
These experiences help children develop confidence, public speaking skills and pride in their work while inspiring younger pupils with what lies ahead in their own learning journey.
Celebrating Our Diverse Community
